Reward Offered for Harden's Return to Custody

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A citizen has offered a $250 reward for information to the arrest of escaped Nelson Center resident Maurice Harden.

Harden, 19, was involved in the robbery that led to Cedar Rapids police officer Tim Davis suffering serious injuries in March 2009. He was assigned to the Lary Nelson Center in October 2013 after failing to comply with the conditions of his probation for first-degree robbery and interference with official acts causing serious injury. Harden was released from the Nelson Center on Jan. 14 for a three-hour furlough and failed to return at the designated time.

Harden is a black man, 5'7" and weighs 150 pounds.
