President Obama to Visit Iowa Tuesday

DAVENPORT, Iowa - President Barack Obama will visit Alcoa’s Davenport Works on Tuesday to tour the plant and talk about critical manufacturing, a White House official said Thursday.
More details about the visit are expected before the weekend, the official, who asked not to be identified, said this morning.
The president will speak about how manufacturing serves as the backbone of communities across the country and how the continued revitalization of American manufacturing is critical to our nation’s success in a 21st century global economy.
More details are expected to be released today.
