Powerball Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold in Iowa
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - No one won this weekend's Powerball jackpot, but a ticket worth $1 million was sold in the Des Moines area.
Lottery officials say the $1 million ticket was sold at a Git-N-Go convenience store in Urbandale, Iowa.
The winning ticket matched the first five numbers in Saturday's drawing, but didn't match the Powerball.
Because no one won Saturday's $330.8 million jackpot, the prize will increase to roughly $400 million for Wednesday's drawing. That would be the sixth-largest lottery jackpot ever.
