Police Search for Work Release Facility Escapee

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids police are asking for the public's help in finding a man that didn't return to a work release facility.

Christopher Lee Wright, 27, was put on escape status Saturday morning. He had been staying at the Lary Nelson Work Release Facility since October 3, 2012. Prior to work release, he was in prison on a Second Degree Robbery charge.

Wright is African-American with black hair and brown eyes. He stands at 5'10" and weighs 205 lbs. He has tattoos on his upper left and right arms and left shoulder. He also has a scar on his left arm and neck.
