Police: Shoplifter Leaves Store with Two Rifles Hidden in Pants

MANCHESTER, Iowa - A Manchester man is has been charged following several shoplifting incidents at a WalMart store.

Dustin Stone, 23, was arrested last week following an investigation. He is charged with second-degree theft and third-degree theft.

According to Manchester police, during one of the incidents Stone removed electronic items from their packaging and took them from the store. In another incident, investigators said Stone concealed a muzzle loading rifle and an air rifle down his pant legs and left the store.

Police later recovered the merchandise at Stone's apartment. The stolen items were valued at more than $2,000.

Stone is being held in the Delaware County Jail.
