Police Looking for Woman Using Stolen Credit Card

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who they say used a stolen credit card last year.

Officials said a woman had her purse gone through and her debit card and other items taken on November 9 at Third Street Saloon, 1202 Third Street SE. Police said between 12:19 a.m. and 3:58 a.m. on November 10, the card had been used multiple times at various Eastern Iowa locations.

Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said the card was used mostly in Iowa City.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Linn County Crime Stoppers at 800-272-7463, or send a text message to CRIMES (274637) with 5527 in the subject/message area and the tip. Anyone who can identify the woman can speak directly to the investigating officer at 319-286-5457.
