Police Investigate Woman's Death in Burlington
BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) — Burlington police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found during a welfare check.
Police say officers were sent to a house early Thursday to check on the woman who authorities say had been involved in a domestic dispute. Officers forced their way inside the home and found the woman dead. State investigators are assisting in the investigation to determine the cause and manner of death.
