Police Investigate Robbery in Northwest Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police are investigating a robbery at a northwest side retail store, where a man showed a knife to a clerk, demanded money and then got away with an undisclosed amount cash.

Police received a call from one of the two female employees working at Dollar General, 151 Jacolyn Drive NW, around 6:15 p.m. Friday. Nobody was injured.

At the scene Sgt. Steven Yardley said there were no suspects. The investigation continues.
