Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting that Leaves One Injured

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids Police are looking for two men in connection with an early morning shooting.

It happened at about 12:45 a.m. on Sunday when officers heard gun shots fired in the Czech Village area.

Officers found a shooting victim in the parking lot of CJ's Sports Bar & Grill at 62 17th Avenue Southwest.

Emergency Responders took the victim to Mercy Medical Center with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspects are 2 black males, one in a dark coat and another in a white coat, last seen running west from the scene.
