Police Identify Man Stabbed in Cedar Rapids Apartment

CEDAR RAPIDS – Police have identified the man they say was stabbed Thursday night inside a Cedar Rapids apartment building.

Shannon Coleman, 38, of Cedar Rapids, was found with a stab wound to the chest when officers were called to 261 32nd St. NW, police said. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, where information about his condition was not being released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Capt. Steve O’Konek said suspects have been identified, but no arrests have been made in the case.
