Police: Drunk Iowa City Man Got Car on Train Tracks
IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Police say an Iowa City man accused of drunken driving got his car stuck on some train tracks.
Iowa City police say 24-year-old Runjin Wang was found Saturday morning standing near his car, which was off the road and hung up on train tracks.
Wang's car was still running when officers arrived to the tracks on the city's southeast side. Police say he had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and poor balance. A preliminary breath test indicated his blood alcohol content was above the legal limit to drive.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports Wang has been charged with a serious misdemeanor count of drinking and driving. Court records do not list an attorney.
