CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Time is running out for people to help outfit police dogs with new bullet proof vests. A nationwide fundraiser is trying to get vests for 150 dogs.

Two dogs from the Linn County Sheriff's Office and two from the Cedar Rapids Police Department will benefit thanks to the fundraiser.
If you're interested in helping, you can make a $10 donation through Groupon. The campaign runs through midnight Wednesday March, 20.

In the last six days the campaign has raised$140,000, it's just $10,000 shy of its $150,000 goal. All proceeds go to the vest manufacturer, Vested Interest in K9s.
