CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police arrested a man Wednesday for carrying knives near Cedar Rapids' Kennedy High School.

According to a news release, shortly after 9 a.m. neighbors notified police of a suspicious person in the parking lot of Oakland Church of the Nazarene at 3000 42nd Street NE.

Police said Ajango did not make any specific threats towards a person or group.

Authorities at Kennedy High School locked all exterior doors as a security precaution.
