WATERLOO, Iowa -- Waterloo police said they have arrested a person of interest in the stabbing death of a man there.

According to a news release, at 6:20 a.m. Monday, officers arrested 39-year-old Keisha L. Magee of Waterloo for a parole violation. Police said Magee, who is being held without bond at the Black Hawk County Jail, is a person of interest in the death of 29-year-old John L. Bass of Waterloo. However, no charges have been filed against Magee in connection with the homicide, and the case remains under investigation.
