OXFORD, Iowa (AP) - Officials say people shouldn't drink tap water in Oxford without boiling it.

The city has issued a water warning because the Oxford water tower is being drained, cleaned and repaired.

A boil order is required whenever the tower is drained and refilled, lest the loss of pressure allow contamination.

Officials say tap water shouldn't be used for cooking or drinking until Monday, unless the water has been boiled.
