Driver Identified In Delaware County Fatal Crash

DELAWARE COUNTY, Iowa - The Iowa State Patrol has revealed the name of the driver killed in an early Sunday morning crash in Delaware County. State Patrol confirms that it was Daniel Nurre, 50, of Dyersville.

The crash happened around 4:15 a.m. Sunday on Highway 20 at the 283 mile marker.

The Iowa State Patrol says Nurre was driving in the wrong lane and crashed into a semi. The semi driver, a 47 year old man from Evansdale, was sent to the hospital with injuries.
