Osage Man Indicted on Child Porn Charges
OSAGE, Iowa (AP) — A former Osage man has been indicted on federal charges of receiving and distributing child pornography.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports that 49-year-old Kevin Perrin is charged in an indictment unsealed Thursday in United States District Court in Cedar Rapids.
The indictment alleges Perrin received and distributed child pornography between 2008 and 2009.
If convicted, Perrin faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to 40 years in prison.
Perrin appeared Thursday in federal court in Cedar Rapids and was ordered held without bond. His trial was set for Jan. 7.
