One Person Killed in Mahaska County Crash

MAHASKA COUNTY, Iowa - One person is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Mahaska County.

The Iowa State Patrol confirms Benjamin Coffman, 32, of Williamsburg, died in the crash. It happened Sunday afternoon around 1:15 on Highway 92.

Doreen Agan, 47, of Oskaloosa was driving a Dodge Durango when it crossed the center line, striking Coffman's motorcycle. 70-year-old Philip Jones of Williamsburg swerved on his motorcycle to avoid being hit. Jones' motorcycle ended up in the ditch.

The impact of the crash killed Coffman.

Responders took Jones and Agan to the hospital with injuries. Their conditions were not immediately made available.
