LINN COUNTY, Iowa - Officials have identified a 44-year-old Central City woman as the victim in a fatal two-car crash on Monday.

Margaret Holub died after her Chrysler mini-van collided with a dump truck on Hills Mill Road at Upper Boulder Road, northwest of Prairieburg around 3:30 p.m. Monday. According to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's office, Holub's car had been southbound on Hills Mill Road when it hit the dump truck, which was traveling westbound on Upper Boulder Road.

Holub was pronounced dead on the scene, but John G. Hoffman, the 52-year-old driver of the truck, was not injured and refused medical attention. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, according to the release. No passengers were in either vehicle.

The crash is still under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's office and the Marion Police Department, the release said.
