One Person Killed in Bremer County Crash, Two Injured

    BREMER COUNTY, Iowa One person was killed in a single vehicle accident in Bremer County.

    The Bremer County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on County Rd V-56, south of County Rd C-33, just after 6:30 Tuesday morning.

    According to authorities, Samuel Franzen, 19, of Elberon, was northbound on V-56 driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser. The vehicle drifted off the edge of the road and rolled over. Franzen was taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner and treated for minor injuries. A male passenger, Justin Langreck, age 18, of Fort Atkinson, was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Allen Hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

    A female passenger was also ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the female has not been released, pending notification of family members.

    No other information is being released at this time.
