One Person Injured In Iowa City House Fire

IOWA CITY, Iowa - One person has been taken to the hospital after a morning house fire in Iowa City. The fire was first reported around 8 a.m. at 705 S. Dubuque St., near downtown.

Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly, but remain on scene as of 11 a.m. clearing debris from inside the home.

The condition of the victim is not known at this time. Firefighters are still investigating the cause.
