One Dead after I-80 Crash
TIFFIN, Iowa -- A three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon killed one person on Interstate 80. The Iowa State Patrol says, 37-year-old Kevin Wayne Gschwend of Missouri Valley, Iowa was killed in the crash.
The crash happened just west of the Tiffin exit in the eastbound lanes around 4 p.m. A car already on fire caused traffic to slow down. That's when a utility truck smashed into the back of a semi, causing it to hit another semi. The driver of the truck died at the scene and the driver of the semi received a minor cut on the head.
