Officials Investigate Shooting Death in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Iowa – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office has released the name of a man killed in a shooting Saturday night.

The release comes after officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Marigold Boulevard in Jefferson County at 7:28 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found the body of Buddy Lee Frisbie, 32, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies have arrested a 33-year-old Fairfield man, Tyler James Webster, in connection with the shooting. He was charged with first degree murder, and the investigation is ongoing.
