OELWEIN, Iowa - Oelwein Police are searching for a man tonight following a high speed chase. Police say 38-year-old Kyle Boleyn of Arlington got away from them earlier. Police say he was driving erratically on Third Avenue in Oelwein, but when officers tried to pull him over he drove off. He reached speeds up to 90 miles per hour in a 35 zone.
Boleyn eventually stopped in a ditch along Outer Road, and ran into a corn field.

Police searched the area for more than hour but didn't find him.
They did bring his passenger in for questioning. Anyone who knows where Boleyn is should call the Oelwein Police Department at (319)-283-4311.
