CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - Brucemore is opening every door to visitors for a rare glimpse at every nook and cranny of the mansion. Climb into the attic to see the hidden treasures that aren't on display, check out family photos and blueprints in the archive room, and experience rain falling in the basement Tahitian Room. The tour explores the grounds inside and out, gives background on the architecture, and provides information on the ongoing preservation efforts at the mansion. Even if you have been to Brucemore before, chances are you've never seen this side of the mansion. The Nooks and Crannies Tour is May 23, 2013 at 6 p.m.. Admission is $15 per person and $12 per Brucemore member and includes a Historic Neighborhood Tour flipbook.
