CLAYTON COUNTY, Iowa - A bridge in northeast Iowa is back open after being closed for about three hours Sunday.

The Mississippi Bridge that connects Marquette, Iowa with Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin was closed due to a possible structural issue.

A Wisconsin bridge inspector said he could not find any safety concerns and reopened the road at about 4:45 p.m.

A trip from Marquette to Prairie du Chien normally takes 5 minutes, but if the bridge is out, that is about an 80-minute detour..
