Movie 'Cedar Rapids' Making Midwest Premiere in Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Michigan - The film titled “Cedar Rapids” will make its its Midwest premiere at the Michigan Theater as part of Sundance Film Festival USA. Cast members includes Ed Helms, John C. Reilly, Sigourney Weaver and Anne Heche. The movie is about a small-town Wisconsin man who travels to big city Cedar Rapids to represent his company at a regional insurance conference. The movie was originally slated to be filmed in Iowa, but production was moved to Ann Arbor, Mich., reportedly due to the suspension of Iowa’s tax credit program.
