BENTON COUNTY, Iowa - Benton County Sheriff's Department is asking for help in finding two 15-year-old girls from Shellsburg. Skie Floyd and Jazlyn Visek were last seen at noon Saturday and last made contact with family members around 3 p.m. Family members believe they left in a 1997 gold Jeep Grand Cherokee with no plates.

On Sunday, the BCSO said information indicates that they may be with two runaway boys, Corey Lee Matthew, 16, and Austin Michael Boggs, 13, both from the Atlantic area.

"She's shy, she's sweet, she's kind hearted," said Dusty Hiepler-Floyd, Skie's mother.

"She didn't take her purse, she didn't take her money, she didn't take anything with her," said Melinda Griffith, a family friend. Griffith, 60, ran away from home when she was 13. "If you're running away from home you take everything you got."

Hiepler-Floyd said her daughter likely is sticking by her friend's side, who may know one of the boys.

"I know my daughter is scared right now, I'm sure she wants to come home," she said. "I just want them to know they're not in trouble."

Both Floyd and Visek are sophomores at Vinton-Shellsburg High School.

Floyd is described as 5'1", 115 lbs., white with blue eyes and blonde hair. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark stonewash jeans and boots.

Visek is white and has green eyes and brown hair. She stands at 5'5" and weighs 185 lbs. She was wearing blue skinny jeans, a gray, zip-up hooded sweatshirt with the word "Arrow" on the front and gray and green Nikes. She also has two lip rings.

If anyone has any information, call the Benton Sheriff's Department at (319) 472-2337.
