KEOSAUQUA, Iowa (AP) — A woman missing for two days has been found trapped inside her crashed car.
The Hawk Eye in Burlington reports that 29-year-old Emily Ann Borgomainerio of Keosauqua was found conscious and alert.
She was taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A hospital spokeswoman says no information is available on her condition.
Van Buren County Chief Deputy Brad Hudson says deputies responded to a report of a vehicle crash northeast of Keosauqua on Monday afternoon. The caller told dispatchers a driver was pinned in a vehicle and it was the woman who had been missing since Saturday.
An emergency medical crew freed Borgomainerio from the vehicle.
She told deputies the crash happened Saturday morning.
