WASHINGTON, Iowa – Police say Sharon Hopf, 45, of rural Crawfordsville, Iowa has been missing since January 5th, and the car she was last seen in was discovered in the St. Louis area on Sunday.

Officials said Hopf left for work around 7 a.m. on January 5th in Crawfordsville, but failed to arrive at her destination- Hopf Home Furnishings in Kalona.

Police spotted her white 1999 Chevy Lumina just outside Wright City in Warren County, Missouri, about 30 miles west of St. Louis. Hopf's car was found at an abandoned home in the 28000 block of Highway F, just outside Wright City's city limits. The surrounding area was searched, but Hopf was not located.

Hopf appeared in a furniture commercial in September 2011 for her store, and it remains as the most updated images of Hopf since her disappearance.
