Medical Examiner Says Woman Died of Accidental Meth Overdose
ANKENY, Iowa – The Iowa State Medical Examiner's office has ruled an accidental methamphetamine overdose killed a woman whose body was found on a Taylor County farm last month.
The medical examiner's office said there were no indications of foul play in the death of Maggie Weaver, 31, who was last seen on the night of July 31st while waiting for a ride from a friend.
The friend arrived approximately 2 ½ hours later and Weaver was nowhere to be found. Friends found her body on August 3rd in a cornfield outside of Lenox, Iowa
