DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Cable television provider Mediacom says has added 27 Spanish-language channels to its lineup in Des Moines and surrounding areas of central and southern Iowa.
The new channel set, Canales Latinos, features Spanish versions of popular cable networks that televise sports, news and informational programming, including Discovery en Espanol, ESPN Deportes, Fox Deportes, History Channel en Espanol, and others.
The new set of channels is one of several digital tiers customers may buy. It replaces Mediacom's previous set of Spanish-language channels.
In addition to Des Moines and central Iowa, the channels also are available in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Clinton, Davenport, and areas surrounding those cities.
