Mathis To Be Sworn Into Senate Position Monday

MARION, Iowa - As of Monday night, Liz Mathis will officially start her new role as state senator. Mathis won a November 8th special election for the Senate District 18 seat.

Monday night, she will be sworn into that position during a ceremony in Marion. Mathis beat out Republican Cindy Golding with close to 56% of the vote.
