USS Iowa Mast
In an event called, "Stepping the Mast" crews reattach the mast platform atop the USS Iowa, Tuesday. This event marks the last major piece to be replaced on the ship. An Quarter was placed on the base of the mast and will be melted in as it is attached to the ship, a naval tradition. (Mark Benischek/The Gazette-KCRG)
