Marion Police Investigating Robbery

MARION, Iowa - The Marion Police Department is investigating a Sunday afternoon robbery.

According to a press release, a man walked into General Nutrition Center, 1384 Twixt Town Road, at about 1:10 p.m. Sunday and demanded cash. The man indicated he had a gun, though no gun was displayed. After the robbery, the man fled toward Collins Road.

Police said the suspect was described as a "younger white male," of average height and build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded coat, ski mask and gloves during the robbery, police said.
