Maquoketa Man, Charged in Son’s Death, Found Dead at Home

MAQUOKETA, Iowa – A Jackson County man charged in the death of his adopted son died on Saturday afternoon, according to a report in the Quad City Times.

The Times reports Andrew Holdgrafer, 32, died of natural causes at his Maquoketa home.

Holdgrafer had been facing charges in the death of Collin Holdgrafer, 4. His wife, Danielle, is still being held in jail on charges of first-degree murder and child endangerment.
