GRAHAM, N.C. (AP) — A Tennessee man is now in North Carolina facing charges he used threats to coerce a child into producing pornographic images of herself.
The Alamance County Sheriff's Office said Monday that 22-year-old Christopher Chad Nunis faces seven counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of cyber stalking. Deputies say Nunis threatened the life of the child and her family to get the girl to create the images. He then threatened to publish the images online if she did not continue to produce pornography.
Nunis is from Memphis, Tenn. Investigators say he was previously arrested in Tennessee and Mississippi for threatening adult women online and in Iowa for threatening a child.
A court-appointed attorney for Nunis did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
