IOWA CITY, Iowa - A 66-year-old man was hit by a University of Iowa Cambus while crossing the street Monday morning. The incident happened at the intersection of Clinton and Jefferson Streets shortly after 8 a.m.

The unidentified victim was taking to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Iowa City police.

The driver of the Cambus, Audrey, Kelly, 20, of Iowa City, was cited for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian Within A Crosswalk, police said.

In March a 20-year-old woman filed a lawsuit against the University after she was hit by a Cambus in September of 2011.
