DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — An eastern Iowa man has been given 32 years in a prison on three charges involving child sex assault and pornography.
The Quad-City Times reports that 44-year-old Brian Reynolds, of Muscatine, had been convicted of enticement of a minor to engage in unlawful sexual conduct, production of child pornography and receipt of child pornography. He was sentenced on Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Davenport.
The 13-year-old victim testified that she met Reynolds over the Internet and he persuaded her to meet him in January 2009.
In a sentencing memo filed with the court, prosecutor Cliff Cronk called Reynolds a recidivist child molester and child predator.
Prosecutors say Reynolds molested a 10-year-old girl in 2002 and fathered a child born to a 17-year-old girl.
