Man Killed in Farming Accident
COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa - A 47-year-old man died from injuries he suffered in a tractor accident Wednesday.
The accident happened at about 9 a.m. at 11016 218th Avenue in Columbus Junction, Iowa. The address is for Helmig Farms Company. Brian David Smith was flown to the University of Iowa Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He did not survive. Information regarding exactly what happened in the accident was not immediately released. The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Most Popular |
