VAIL, Iowa (AP) — A western Iowa man has died and three others were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Crawford County.
KTIV-TV in Sioux City reports that 50-year-old Jeffery Studt of Vail was killed in a crash around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities are still investigating the accident. The Iowa State Patrol reports that two vehicles in opposite lanes collided at the top of a hill on 330th Street.
Studt was pronounced dead at a local hospital. A passenger in that vehicle, 42-year-old Christina Studt of Vail, was injured. Her condition was not immediately available.
Also hurt were the driver and passenger in the other vehicle. They were identified as 30-year-old Matthew Johnson and 27-year-old Becky Weller, both of Manilla. Their conditions were not immediately available.
