VINTON - A Cedar Rapids man was arrested for allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with three underage males at a Blairstown park.

James William Hansen, 28, was arrested by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. According to a press release, Hansen had had inappropriate sexual contact with three males on Friday, Aug. 6. The incident allegedly occurred at a park near Hannen Lake.

Sheriff Randall L. Forsyth said Hansen faced two counts of sexual abuse in the second-degree, two counts of lascivious acts with a child, and one count of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

Hansen was in the Benton County Jail on Friday. Hansen’s bail was set at $25,000.
