IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — A Houston attorney who once represented a businessman behind a mysterious claim for an Iowa Lottery jackpot says he's "never heard anything so crazy."

Crawford Shaw must reveal who owned the winning ticket by Friday or Lottery officials won't pay the jackpot worth up to $10.3 million. Shaw represents a trust that turned in the ticket minutes before its expiration.

Attorney Robert Killeen said he hasn't spoken with Shaw since they reached a 2007 settlement in a dispute related to Shaw's resignation as CEO of Industrial Enterprises of America.

Killeen says the deal was "above board" and he's unaware that a lawsuit in Delaware is seeking to recoup $2.3 million Shaw received from the firm, which later collapsed. He has no insight into Shaw's lottery claim, which he called shocking.
