Laufenberg to Remain Behind Bars with No Option for Bond

DUBUQUE, Iowa - A Dubuque County judge ruled to keep a Monona man behind bars with no option of bonding out.
Dubuque police arrested Troy Laufenberg, 21, on Saturday night. Investigators had spent more than a month search for him.
Laufenberg faces child endangerment and drug charges in Clayton County. He is accused of severely injuring 18-month-old Myah Larson in July. Doctors said the Monona girl suffered injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome.
In court Tuesday morning, Laufenberg appeared on charges of probation violation. He agreed to waive his right for extradition.
