DUBUQUE, Iowa - People using kayaks and canoes should use caution on Catfish Creek in Dubuque.

Road and bridge construction has started on Highways 151, 61, and 52 just south of Dubuque. The construction includes replacing the bridge that crosses Catfish Creek.

Authorities say canoeing and kayaking should not take place near the construction area this summer and fall.
