DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Two Davenport men have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a conspiracy to sell crack cocaine.
Federal prosecutors say 45-year-old Charles Bateman was sentenced on Monday to 14 years and must serve eight years of supervised release after he leaves prison. Thirty-two-year-old Roscoe Lee was given 190 months in prison and must serve five years of supervised release after he leaves custody.
Both men pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute the drug.
Prosecutors say Bateman and Lee worked with five other men to sell crack in Davenport from October 2007 to June last year.
