CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Iowa gas prices have fallen nearly four cents in the past week.

Prices are averaging about $3.58 per gallon in Iowa, according to GasBuddy. Last week they were $3.62 and last month they were $3.75. Nationally, people are paying about $3.64 per gallon. That's down two cents from last week.

"Average gasoline prices have continued to quietly move lower in the last week across much of the United States at a time of year when we historically are accustomed to seeing prices move higher," said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. "As of late last week, all fifty states saw lower gasoline prices than the same date last year, and the savings at the pump for motorists- while not staggering- amounts to millions of dollars a day," DeHaan said.
