IOWA FALLS, Iowa - Police in northern Missouri on Friday captured Scott Anthony Bornheim who is wanted in Iowa Falls for charges of attempted murder and first-degree robbery.

At 12:11 p.m. Thursday, police responding to a 911 call found Jesse Lee Oelmann of Iowa Falls with multiple stab wounds in the 400 block of Rocksylvania Avenue.

Bornheim was found Friday around noon traveling southbound on Interstate 35 in the Bethany, Mo. area. He was with a female, Katey Houck, who is considered a “person of interest” and owner of the white 1994 GMC Sierra pickup spotted on Thursday.

Oelmann was taken to Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls, where he was in stable condition Thursday evening.

“It’ll have to be determined if he’ll waive extradition. If he fights it, we will have to do proper paper work,” said Iowa Falls Police Chief Ron Kuhfus.

Houck was not arrested.
