IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Some Iowa City women woke up Saturday morning to an unknown male passed out in one of their beds.

According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, the residents of an apartment at 613 S. Dubuque St. reported to police Saturday morning that a man they didn't know was passed out in one of their beds. Police spoke with the man, later identified as 22-year-old Justin M. DeBoer of Warrenville, Ill. Police said DeBoer was difficult to wake up and said he was at "Bill's at 408."

Police said the man was still "obviously intoxicated" at 7 a.m. The residents reported their couch was "soaking wet with an unknown liquid," and DeBoer's pants were also wet. The damage to the couch was estimated at $400.

DeBoer, who reported to police he was a criminal justice major at a school in Illinois, was arrested and faces one count of trespass causing damage, a serious misdemeanor.
