Illinois Teen Charged with Prostitution in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - An Illinois woman has been charged with prostitution at a Cedar Rapids hotel.

Santonika N. Flowers, 18, of Hazelcrest, Ill., was arrested Thursday afternoon at Hawthorn Suites, 4444 Czech Ln. NE. She is accused of offering her services as a partner in a sex act in exchange for money, according to a criminal complaint.

Police said they had received information about potential prostitution and investigated. Flowers was taken to the Linn County Jail.
